Good morning from El Porto, California. It is your Daily Pep Talk. I had a professor, a mentor in college, who told me one morning as we were walking to class, he said, you know, at any given moment, on any given day, each and every one of us has the potential to be the asshole. It is true. I don't care how good you are, how kind you are, how nice a person you are.

Depending on the circumstances and the kind of day you're having, at any given moment, it could be you. Keep that in mind today as you're going about your business and interacting with people, especially if you recognize you are a little grumpy. Force a smile and do your best to be extra cognizant of your words and your actions. And make sure you do everything you can to be good to each other, be kind to each other, love on each other, and make it a great day.
