I'm just waiting on the right wave to ride

Hello from El Porto, California and the Americana Coast Podcast. This is your daily PEP talk. On any given morning when I come down with my cup of coffee and go for my quick dip in the ocean, there will be surfers lined up jetty to jetty, paddling out pier to pier, almost on top of each other, especially when the conditions are good. But then there are those mornings.

When the weather's a little more turbulent, currents are a little stronger, got white caps all across the horizon, the waves are crashing a lot harder. And there are always those five to 10 surfers that are not intimidated. And it's almost as if they've been waiting for this all year. And they get out there and they catch those waves and they ride them for all their worth with such grace and confidence.

so impressive. And I feel the same way about people in life who when faced with those turbulent waters and those waves that are just seem almost impossible for most people to ride. They stay so calm and they're so confident and they ride it so smoothly. And my question to you today is do you trust your training? Do you trust your experience?

To know that you've got the intestinal fortitude to get out there and ride those turbulent waves, you can do it. I know you can. Regardless of what your face today, trust everything you've been through. It's prepared you for this day. It's prepared you for this moment. And you're going to tackle it. You got it. Meanwhile, be good to each other, be kind to each other, love on each other. I will catch you next time.
